Loyal Love
The passage below makes Christianity simple. My favorite part of is the charge to be loyal in the our love. It’s so easy to love that new friend than it is to love our sibling. However, the most beautiful relationship are almost always relationships that have taken years to build.
“But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do,
what God is looking for in men and women.
It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor,
be compassionate and loyal in your love,
And don’t take yourself too seriously—
take God seriously.”
Pick your people. A dog has only a few people, but that is all they need. In this season of your life it could be four people, or 14 people; either way, commit to them, be loyal in your love.
