Love Bigger Today Pt. 1
How can we love bigger? This is the question I have been asking myself this week.
At the end of the day, this is what really matters. The way we treat our people (Co-workers, friends, family, neighbors) on an everyday basis is a telltale sign. We are heading into a three part series on loving people bigger and how we do this on a daily basis. I believe, as lovers of people, we need to have a purpose statement that defines us. We will be discussing three specific aspects of this purpose statement.
Here it is!
Our purpose, as we go, is to seek and seize moments to love bigger
Today, I want to discuss as we go. The best leader who ever lived challenged us with this exact mission:
“Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life...instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”
"Go" can be literally translated into "As you go". In other words, we don't have to travel across the world to love bigger. We love bigger as we go, as we live our daily life. If we're going to be honest, do we do that? It's okay, I don't do too well at this myself. So often we interpret go as in leave the country, I believe we should love people well where we are at!
