Connect Daily
I've gone to a lot of graduation parties and social events with my friends recently; however, I have felt a little disconnected recently. Today, many of us decided to work outside of the office and go to a local coffeeshop. Through talking, laughing, and doing some work, I felt a deep sense of connection.
I'm afraid to say that in the midst of all the events and parties, that we forgot to simply connect on a human level. Looking back, I have realized that it is essential to create a regular human connection with those we care about.
Sure, nice things are great, big parties are turnt, movies are captivating, but a conversation is restorative.
