A “Sitting Christianity”

Christians do a lot of sitting. Rarely does this sitting turn into practical change.

Why?

We don't have a compassion problem, we have a vision problem.

  1. We can't even see our own neighborhoods let alone the pain of the people within it. If we are able to see the problem, we will want to be a part of the solution. Let’s go and see the pain in our communities.

  2. Then, we need to see more than just the need, but the good in each and every individual. Social transformation cannot happen if we do not believe that the person we are helping can one day do the same for someone else.

Go out, see the pain, and come along side them as a friend. This is the formula for communal change. This is the formula to making our Faith an action.

Are you practically living out your faith?
